make room.

Recently a few of my favorite shirts have gotten a bit snug. No biggie, I sort of knew it was coming. A month ago I informed the mr that I wanted zero maternity clothes for Christmas, no way was I going to be ready for "bigger" shirts.
Christmas is 19 days away and guess what I'm getting - {per request}- a maternity wardrobe. I'm finally ready to push my regulars aside for something a little roomier. I weigh more right now that I ever have and some time in the last 18 weeks, I came to terms with what was coming. This pregnancy was planned but that doesn't take away the fact that I honestly had no clue was I was in for.
As long as this little one gets here safe and sound, I'll do what it takes.
And then I'll hit the gym like a crazy.
Weirdest feeling ever: not being able to 'suck' in.
I'm so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to meeting our little dude!

  1. Just for what it's worth as a small girl that went through this not too long ago, the change is kind of hard but everytime I went to the doctor I remembered what I was getting for it. I found most of my favorite maternity clothes at Ross of all places and for pretty cheap because I didn't want to spend a ton of money on clothes I wasn't going to need for a long time. Motherhood maternity is okay they just get super expensive. You are going to be the cutest prego lady! So excited for you guys!!
