I'm incredibly grateful for the chance that we had to really give my Mom almost exactly what she deserved for Mother's Day.
It was given a little early but we just couldn't wait.
In March My mom and little bro. Logan took a trip to Colorado to vist my brother's family.
As they pulled into Evanston, their car over heated.
Logan called in a panic, he was only given one job regarding the entire project
"GET MOM TO COLORADO!"
With much much much prayer and great people, they were able to get back on the road.
It was a good thing to because before they left Evanston, the carpet from 3 bedrooms and the entire basement, was in the garage.
The belongings of those rooms, were stacked to the ceiling in other parts of the house.
That took place on a Thursday afternoon.
By the end of Friday, we had new carpet installed and the painting began.
My husband the painter went to work on my Mom's room and the doors throughout the house from sun up to sun down.
We managed to get a few hours of sleep at my sister's house and then it was back to work.
After painting, we put each room back together.
With 15 minutes to spare, Logan and Mom pulled in the Driveway.
It was literally that close.

Abby Made this cool flowers.
These are pictures that we've taken in Hawaii-
Mom's most favorite place.
Her 'old' computer chair.
The 5 kiddos she loves the most.
My siblings got her the most adorable bedspread and pillows for Mother's day
That came a bit later. It matches perfectly!
She described the color as PERFECT.
Which was a relief, Colby did his best.
We also put carpet in the other 2 bedrooms upstairs and the two bedrooms downstairs.
It was a good experience to be able to do this for my Mom and to see her reaction.
We had the video camera ready as soon as she walked in the door.
I'll never forget this Mother's day and I have high hopes that Mom won't either.
We will probably not be able to top this year but we will certainly try.
Thanks Mom for being such a great example and for loving us with all that you have.
WE LOVE YOU!
