A girl's best friend.

Everyone girl should have one of those friends that will always be there, no matter what.
Someone you can call when you're in the dressing room stuck in a dress and even though they aren't there with you, they can talk you through it or at least laugh with you.
The girl who knows how to make you smile by reminding you about the picture that was taken of your naked backside. Which also reminds you how nice your butt 'used to be'.
This person is as busy as you but never let's time get away. Even when it's been a year, you know exactly where to pick up.
The girl scout in her seems to get you in more trouble than you ever thought possible and helps you laugh til you pee your pants to relieve the stress of the situation.
She was there when you said your first F-word and she doesn't blame you. It was necessary and she knows it.
This girl keeps a list of all the boys you've kissed and then brings it up fives years later so you can both roll your eyes.
At midnight (or later) she understands your craving for energy drinks and beef jerky and she's also willing to drive.
You practically live at her house and she even shares her bed.
Rules are broken but promises are kept and no one will ever know about the time we drank soda in her room on her Mom's brand new carpet.
Phone calls full of tears are always taken and even expected.
You're one of the first to know about her pregnancy and she's one of the first to know about your divorce.
She emails you the sweetest letter possible letting you know that she will love you no matter what but she doesn't think your marriage is right, and when it ends, she holds you instead of telling you "I told your so".
Your schedules constantly conflict but it doesn't matter, you just keep rescheduling knowing that the stars will align someday soon.
You spend hours chatting on fb about how crazy things used to be.
When the most awkward moment of your life happens and you can't tell your husband about it, you call her and you both laugh til you cry.

Everyone should have at least one of these girls, I cherish mine.

  2. Ha ha! We've had nothing but an amazing life because of each other! Pretty sure our Heavenly Father knew exactly what he was doing when he paired us up! Here's to more facebook chats and awkward moments!
