meet mr n.
i clocked out at 6:03 and 18 minutes later i was home, in my jams, in my bed. i keep wishing i could throw up, just once. nausea and i are tight, like my dad's pants. mr n never gives me a break. here. to. stay. is what he would say, if he could talk. colby is downstairs making me a baked potato, the only thing that sounds sort of, kind of, a little bit tasty. dinner in bed sounds like it could be romantic. its not. its more of a survival must. this is no 24 hour flu friends. this is the. real. deal. im currently 11 1/2 weeks into this crazy thing called pregnancy. i keep telling colby that if this kid isnt cute, it'll be the only one we have. only cute kids are worth this garbage.

Oh man I'm sorry. I remember all too well. I hope it gets better. It didn't for me, I was sick the whole time. But for most it does get better. One thing I could eat and wasn't too horrible coming back up was fruit loops. I can't eat them anymore but it was something I could eat while I was pregnant. If you like baked potatoes Wendy's were what I would eat for lunch, but again I can't eat it anymore. I figure you can only throw something up so much before your body won't have it anymore and I hit that point with Fruit loops and Wendy's baked potatoes. So if there's something you enjoy eating before you get pregnant avoid it now so you can enjoy it after ;) Good luck. I hope it gets better for you!!
ReplyDeleteI actually now rember saying when I was pregnant with Kady that I never wanted to do it again. Once you start feeling the baby you will totally forget how sick and miserable you were!
ReplyDeleteCongrats I am so excited for you guys. Being sick sucks. I hope it gets better soon. Pregnancy does some crazy stuff to us. With my first i craved corn dogs so bad and i absolutely hate them. But it is so worth it. They are such a blessing. Congrats again I am so excited for you and Colby.

Congrats! That is so exciting... well not the sickness part, but the baby very much so! Trust me, the sickness is totally worth it! (have you tried the half a unisom and B6 before bed trick? Doesn't work for all, but totally eliminated my morning sickness and it's perfectly safe for baby)
ReplyDeleteHaHaHa! LOL at the Dad's tight pants comment! Really- there are tears! Anyway, sorry you are sick. It gets better and it's totally worth it! :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you and Colby! I was sick with both my girls and ZOFRAN saved me! something to maybe try. But like others have said; once you feel and see your baby you'll forget all the garbage you have to do to prepare for that moment. You'll be such a good mommy
ReplyDeleteI hear ya there!! I'm at 13 weeks and all I ate for 6 weeks was saltines and oatmeal. Mr. N is starting to let up though and yours should soon ( I hope!!!) you should have more energy soon. even if it's just enough to take your jammied bum to the couch and eat a real meal!!!
