Another one bites the dust.
Seriously, this race was duuuusty.
The first 2.5 legs in our van were definitely in the desert.
My first leg was 4.6 miles, 88 degrees and dirty dirty.
With each race we run, we are able to minimize the things that are/were needed.
I'm still impressed with the organization that took over our van this race.
My two favorite Team Mates.
Just when they think they can take a break from their parenting skills and leave their kids with grandma, they spend 30 hours taking care of me and making sure I'm staying hydrated, safe, and having the time of my life.
As a little girl I promised myself that I would do whatever it took to have a great relationship with my siblings, no matter what, we'd stay close.
Kady and I have found something that we can't get enough of and I love that it's one more thing to keep us so close. We might live in separate states but we are always staying updated with each other's runs and every few months (or weeks) we have the chance to get together again and run.
Leg #2 was in the middle of the night.
5.5 miles of sidewalk.
No complaints here, it was truly the best run of my life. I wish I could do that leg a million times over.
I did really well on my time and I just kept pushing myself harder and harder.
I was kind of disappointed when it ended, I was in 'the mode' and the end came much too quickly.
Leg #3 was tough. It was my shortest distance at 3.5 miles but the incline was something I wasn't prepared for. The only thing I can kind of compare it to, is the hill right before you approach the Bountiful Temple only I swear it was steeper!
I was glad to have completed yet another Ragnar Relay but I'm really looking forward to So. Cal race in less than 4 weeks!

I hope one day I can run like you! :-)
