Halloween - Cali style.

Colby and I decided that we were in need a short trip so, when we heard the Peterson's were continuing the tradition of a spook alley in the garage for Halloween, we decided we couldn't miss it. I called my sister about two weeks before to make sure they didn't already have plans and she of course, was game. We left on Friday, stopped in Vegas for the night, got to LA early Saturday afternoon and headed home on Tuesday. It was a very short and busy trip but we had so much fun.
As soon as we pulled in the driveway Kady put us to work and we were able to help her all weekend long. I loved having everything busy and being able to help her accomplish her crazy weekend. Ward halloween party, teaching YW, two different school parades + a middle schooler at a different school. On top of that she threw a friend party on Monday along with the haunted house in the garage.
 She just goes and goes!
We hated to leave and Tuesday came way to quickly. We got half way to Vegas before Kady called to tell me I had left my luggage. *you know how sometimes people leave stuff behind so that you are forced to see that person again real soon? That's why i left it - if anyone asks. Thank goodness I don't need those summer clothes. :)
We made great time on the way home and once we got to Provo Colb begged me to let him turn around and go back. He even promised that he would drive all night, sadly we had to get back to work.
I of course left the camera cord for the video camera in my luggage so those pictures (and video) will have to wait. Oh and we left the memory card for the regular camera at home in the computer so our internal memory prevented a lot of serious picture taking.

This picture completely describes our trip; totally crazy and full of smiles.

Thanks for having us Peterson family, it was a treat, as usual!  :)
