Snowy Days.

I have severe anxiety when it comes to the snow. I appreciate the snow and the moisture that it provides but when we start talking about driving in it, I pretty much just come unglued. Riding in the car, or being in the driver's seat, I hate both.
Just when I think I can handle it, the car starts to fish-tale.
It's become quite apparent that I can handle almost anything with enough distraction so, I found what works with the snow.
I pray. The whole way home. Out loud. Just like I do every day on my knees. I thank Heavenly Father for all of my blessings, mentioning a whole handful by name. We talk about life and I ask for forgiveness for my weaknesses. Then, before I know it, I'm pulling into the driveway. Safe. And. Sound.
I kind of look forward to those snowy days and I know my Father in Heaven does do.
I just love our little chats. :)
