Day #1 of our trip to Hawaii!

We headed for the Airport about 6:30 AM and we were tired but super excited! We got to the Airport and went to check in and discovered that our flight had been canceled! What a great way to start the trip ... We finally figured things out and had about 4 hours to kill before we attempted to fly out again! We were lucky enough to know an employee working at the Airport today so she let us borrow her car until we had to be back! We were starving so we made a stop at Village Inn and had a yummy breakfast and then headed to Smith's to buy a few last minute items to keep us entertained on the plane! We stopped at the Gateway for a little bit and then it was finally time to start our much needed vacation!

My Mom and I were able to sit together on the first flight in the very back of the plane which didn't sound too bad until the kids behind us started screaming. Not crying ... screaming! My IPod kept me sane and it's a good thing ... Luckily it had a full battery because it was the only thing keeping me from taking down a few crazy kids who just didn't want to wear their seat belts! It was so bad that a flight attendant came and offered my mom headphones and when she went to pay for them he said he was buying! We were so glad when we finally landed in LA!
We went through security again and after unpacking what seemed like my entire backpack just so they could inspect my laptop we were able to sit and have a nice dinner at Chili's too before we boarded our next plane! We didn't get to sit right by each other again but there were zero complaints when we boarded and all the kids were under control. :)
The flight to Hawaii was super long but we made it and we're so excited to be here! My Mom asked us to wait for the luggage while she went to pick up our rental car and we were all surprised when she pulled up in a Convertible Mustang! GO MOM! We were the most excited to see my sister and her family but we did make a quick trip to the beach before bedtime just to check it out!
The three of us (Logan, Keaton, and me) keep telling each other we can't believe this is real and that we are finally here! None of us thought we'd ever get here, Not because of all the crazy stuff that has happened but because it's Hawaii .... ! Hopefully I'll be able to post everyday and keep those of you that couldn't make it posted! We miss you guys a ton and we're already planning a trip in two years when we can all come together!
